Rub-a-Dub-Dub Anna Grace in the Tub

9/17/09 - Alright, I'll admit it... I didn't want to give up giving Anna spongebaths on the counter, so even after her belly button fell off (when she was 8 days old) I never gave her a bath in her little tub. So 2 and a half months later, we finally broke down and brought out the big girl tub :'( My little baby is growing up... and she loves baths :)

Happy 2 Month Birthday!

9/1/09 - Anna is 2 Months old! I can't believe how quickly time goes by. It seems like just yesterday I was just bringing her home and now she's getting to be such a big girl.

She doesn't have another doctors appointment until the beginning of October so I don't have very up to date stats, but she's about 14lbs I would say and so long that she's grown out of the 0-3 month clothing and even some of the 3-6 month stuff. She eats just about every 3-4 hours during the day and SLEEPS ALL NIGHT... Yes, that's right. ALL night, every night. She usually goes to bed when we do around 10 or so, then sleeps like a rock until 6 or 7 in the morning :) I'm sure there are plenty of other babies who sleep all night at this age, but Ella wasn't one of them. She didn't sleep all night until just a few months ago, so as you can imagine, we're quite tickled with Anna's nighttime habits :) Other than that, she's starting to get a really nice little personality, smiling all the time at anyone willing to talk to her. She also enjoys gurgling and jabbering with her Mama :) Last night we had the most wonderful conversation at bedtime. I'll have to get one of them recorded and post them up here - she's such a cutie :)

8/26/09 - Every little girl needs a nice bear to cuddle with and thanks to Aunt Joy, Anna is no exception :) She took a liking to "Mr. Bear" while we were laying on the floor playing. She reached out and wrapped her arm right around him :)

8/12/09 - So I thought we could give the "Bumbo" chair a try this afternoon and Anna really liked it. I think she enjoyed the new view from an upright position instead of on the floor or in her carseat. She lasted almost 5 minutes before getting bored, but for those few minutes she was busy smiling and gurgling and looking all around, taking it all in. Thanks to cousin Lydia for letting us borrow her very cool chair :)

Daddy & Me

7/31/09 - One of Anna's new favorite spots is right on her Daddy's lap. She'll sit there completely content, looking all around, snuggling with her Dada :)

7/20/09 - Anna had her 2 week (and 5 days) doctors appointment today and she did wonderfully! Since her last appointment she went from 9lbs 7oz and 20 inches to 10lbs 14oz and 21 inches! :) She is growing like a weed and all of her measurements are in the high 90's as far as percentile goes. God willing, she will keep up this healthy kick and grow big and strong in no time :)
In other news, she's started a cute little habit... snoring :)
